Bolt to floor swivel chair bases are chiefly used when a stationary chair is desirable. Idea development, special purpose chair, stool, or for use on stationary or portable table base systems. The main thrust of this web page is to show the two available bolt down bases and a few examples of their versatility in adaptation to a particular application.

This particular bolt to the floor swivel chair base below has a wide variety of setups which can be used. Originally intended as a Jury chair base.

Automatic self return
Use with any Manual mechanism offered. Style #01 475 recommended.
7" and 9 1/4" standard heights, others can be special ordered\
360 degree swivel or,
Many choices of left and right swivel stopping points. Examples in degrees are, 45 left/right, 60 left /right, 90 left/right.
Heavy duty steel construction

 

Cast aluminum gas model is shown, but equally at home with an Manual height adjustment. Bar stools (special foot rings available), drafting stools and a large variety of custom applications. Gas cylinders can be rotational or non-rotational, as often used for tables and portable stand-up warehouse or other facility documentation working surfaces.

 

45mm column tube is available in standard stock lengths or custom sized to suit specific requirements. Select from a variety of finishes or chromed steel. For seating uses, many manual style swivel and tilt mechanisms are also available for this bolt down base configuration.
